Kirkham Town Council owns and maintains all the Parks and Open Spaces in the Town.
We use contractors to maintain the gardens, flower beds and displays, grassed areas and verges, children's play equipment and furniture. The contract was won by Fylde Borough Council and is reviewed periodically. Volunteer and Community Groups help to keep our Parks and Open Spaces beautiful. We are grateful to Kirkham In Bloom, HMP Kirkham, Kirkham Allotment Tenants Association, Friends of Kirkham Parks and 2nd Kirkham Scout Group for the work they do. |

Remembrance Way stretches from School Lane to Carr Lane. It is a joint use path for cyclists and walkers. It is a community use path with wildflower planting for your enjoyment especially during the summer months, fruit trees, bushes and plants (so please help yourselves to the fruit) and herbs which you can pick with care. The area was developed and is now maintained and developed by Kirkham Town Council, Kirkham In Bloom, Kirkham Allotment Association, HMP Kirkham, Friends of Kirkham Parks and Kirkham Scouts. Fylde Borough Council designed the planting scheme in conjunction with Kirkham Town Council. |
