Town Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)

Salary: £31,200 Pro Rata
Kirkham Town Council is looking to appoint a resourceful and experienced individual to be our Town Clerk.

As Town Clerk, you will be the proper officer and responsible financial officer, assisting the council in making and implementing decisions, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Town Council services, projects, and activities.

The post is 20 hours per week over 5 days, reporting to the Town Council, and will require occasional evening and weekend work.

Caretaker / Cleaner

Kirkham Town Council is looking to appoint a caretaker/cleaner with good interpersonal skills to maintain the Council's building assets, including the general cleaning of both the Community Centre and William Segar Hodgson buildings, as well as providing general handyman maintenance support to assist with various tasks throughout the buildings.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with a 'can do' attitude, who can demonstrate a good level of cleaning and caretaker related experience.

The post is 10 hours per week over 5 days, reporting to the Town Clerk and may require occasional evening and weekend work.
